The MRC’s Council of Mayors wishes to inform the population of the MRC, that the tabling of the report following the public consultation, held on March 15th, 2011, on the potential sites analysis for the future regional septic tank sludge treatment center has been postponed to the June 16th , 2011 Council meeting.

Regional septic tank sludge treatment center
The MRC’s Council of Mayors wishes to inform the population of the MRC, that the tabling of the report following the public consultation, held on March 15th, 2011, on the potential sites analysis for the future regional septic tank sludge treatment center has been postponed to the May 19th , 2011 Council meeting.
Consequently, any decisions or discussions relating to the proposed regional septic tank sludge treatment center are not planned for the next Council’s meeting to be held on April 21st, 2011.
The Council of Mayors indicates that the analytical work relating to the large quantity of memoires and questions submitted requires an additional delay.

This funding by way of loans ranging from $5,000 to $150,000 is aimed at creating long-lasting jobs and maintaining existing jobs in the municipalities of Val-des-Monts, Cantley, Chelsea and La Pêche.
This investment fund will be used to upport businesses in the execution of their start-up, expansion, modernization and stabilization projects and in their acquisition of existing businesses.
This new funding option for the Collines-de-l’Outaouais will contribute to project development in different areas of activity which meet local needs and priorities.
