CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WHAT SERVICES ARE MAINTAINED AT THE MRC?
All services to residents that are considered essential are maintained:
- Fire Department
- Municipal Court (Maintained: An application for a stay of execution of a judgment (Section 255 of the Penal Procedure Code) is the only procedure considered urgent).
The MRC Public Security Service continues their work and suveillance. Police officers are deployed throughout the territory to ensure the safety of residents, businesses, and construction sites.
Other MRC services
The offices of the MRC are closed except for priority services.
The Municipal Court of the MRC is open, but closed to the public. It is possible to pay your ticket online: click here or by telephone 819-827-COUR (2687). Information and requests are also being processed by e-mail. See the Municipal Court section of this website.
The department of Property Assessments is closed, but we can process your requests online. Visit the Property Assessments section of this website.
The department of Sustainable Development continues to work from home, offering the following services:
- Support to businessses
- Support to community organisations
- Support to cultural organizations and artists
- Waste, recycling and compost pick up
Public transit and adapted transport services are maintained. Please note that these services cannot be used to visit a COVID-19 testing centre. Le Centre intégré de santé et des services sociaux de l'Outaouais (CISSSO) can help you make transport arrangements for this purpose.
